Getting to Know Persefoni: Meet Eliana Cameira

Share:
Article Overview

Tell us about your role and what do you hope to achieve/accomplish?

My title is Head of Growth Marketing and I currently lead our enterprise demand generation efforts. I am primarily responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy to generate leads and drive customer acquisition through channels like SEO, content marketing (webinars, email, Academy, social media, blog), and advertising. More importantly, in my role, I have the privilege of working cross-functionally with several teams – design, AESOP, sustainability, product, CS, and climate solutions – to build and deliver our global marketing campaigns. I hope that during my time at Persefoni, I can play a part, even if it's just a small one, in helping drive the change needed to address the climate crisis. I hope that we can continue to help companies navigate this complex area called 'carbon accounting' and equip them with the education and tools to set and achieve their decarbonization goals.

What is it about being a Persefonite that keeps you motivated to do your best work, even on the hard days?

Honestly, it's being able to work with and learn from some of the smartest people I've ever met in my career. You get that extra motivation and energy when you collaborate with folks who have the same drive as you to get the job done, and get it done RIGHT. This is what motivates me to show up for my team every day.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

The things I absolutely love doing outside of work are hitting the gym for strength training, attending concerts and music festivals (classic rock, punk rock, indie rock), and visiting local breweries. We recently moved to the Tampa Bay area, where breweries have exploded in the past couple of years, with most being pet-friendly (a huge plus!). My top three favorites are: 1) Angry Chair, 2) Cycle, and 3) Cigar City.

What achievement are you most proud of from the entirety of their tenure here?

I am proud to have built Persefoni's content engine to what it is today. I have the most brilliant and talented teammates here, so that definitely makes things easier! Working closely with leading industry experts has allowed me to learn and leverage their insights to create relevant, engaging, and helpful content for our audience. My biggest highlights come from receiving positive feedback from customers, prospects, and partners, acknowledging the quality and usefulness of our content.

What's your go-to morning beverage?

As a true Brazilian, I'm a coffee lover. It's quite typical for Brazilian families to start drinking coffee from a very young age, which many find surprising here in the U.S. After living in Southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), I also got used to changing it up with 'mate' from time to time.
