Accelerating the Value of Carbon Accounting

Share:
Article Overview

Companies spend increasing time and resources gathering, quality checking, and analyzing business activity data to calculate their carbon footprint. Managers pass spreadsheets back and forth with colleagues across the business who have appropriate systems access to collect the data on a regular cadence. In enterprises, collecting input data can be especially taxing and a significant bottleneck, preventing managers from investing in improving inventory quality and completeness and developing strategies to reduce emissions.

To help alleviate this burden, we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of Integration Hub, a new space that enables organizations to connect Persefoni, an ERP of Climate™ platform, with their other software systems to collect the necessary activity information to estimate their carbon footprint. Integration Hub enables organizations to seamlessly link Persefoni to their most important business applications so that organizations can streamline their greenhouse gas inventory data collection. This substantially reduces the effort necessary to scale carbon accounting enterprise-wide and frees managers to focus on more critical climate management undertakings, such as footprint reduction planning.

Integration Hub

Integration Hub enables organizations to seamlessly link Persefoni to their most important business applications, including SAP Concur, NetSuite, Expensify, TripActions, Coupa, SAP Ariba, Amazon Web Services, iLEVEL, and more. Once a connection is authenticated and activated, Persefoni automatically extracts the pertinent application data and calculates the associated footprint. Administrators can customize their integrations, adjust for business-specific data objects, or tailor data collection frequency to their preferred cadence.

By incorporating Integration Hub into our existing suite of climate reporting and trajectory tools, Persefoni has enabled end-to-end automation of the full carbon accounting cycle. For example, customers can have Persefoni fetch monthly electricity consumption data across all facilities from their utility providers on one end and receive a carbon inventory report tracking Scope 2 footprint against targets on the other end without human intervention in the middle. In short, we've harnessed our data engineering and automation expertise to make carbon accounting cost-effective for any organization, regardless of scale.

Integration Hub is included with a subscription to Persefoni and can help you save time on your decarbonization journey to combat climate change.
