Kentaro Kawamori was the youngest Chief Digital Officer ever at a Fortune 500 company before starting Persefoni - he serves as CEO and Co-Founder. His career has focused on the software space and includes time spent as a Cloud Strategy Consultant at Accenture and a Venture Partner focused on early-stage SaaS companies. Kentaro is also a Co-Founder & Board Director at Umbrage and an Advisor at Rehab.com. In 2020, Kentaro was recognized by Forbes on its 30 Under 30 list.
Jason brings nearly three decades of deep operational, strategy, and engineering experience as the COO and Co-Founder of Persefoni. He led one of the most important operational technology rollouts in Energy sector history, and has overseen several early-stage technology venture deals as an Advisor with the Rice Investment Group. Jason also has material experience with ERP solutions and implementations.
As a trained computer scientist and mathematician, Kim brings product development and architecture experience to bear as CDIO and Co-Founder at Persefoni. She has significant startup experience, including as a key product leader at one of the Records Management sector’s first SaaS vendors. Her background also includes a sophisticated understanding of enterprise systems, having spent a decade leading the development of proprietary applications at a Fortune 500 company.
Marc is the CFO of Persefoni, prior to which he spent 17 years as Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Corporate Finance Advisory at J.P. Morgan and Managing Director and Global Head at Citi. Before his career on Wall Street, Marc was a Professor of Finance and the Chairman of the finance and economics area at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Marc also serves on the Board of OneSpan, is Executive in Residence at the University of Miami, a Senior Advisor to Radar, and serves as an expert witness.
Greg is the Chief Technology Officer at Persefoni. He is an experienced technology leader with more than 20 years of experience in consulting and industry. Prior to Persefoni, Greg was a Managing Director in Accenture's Intelligent Cloud & Infrastructure team. Before Accenture, Greg worked on a private equity turnaround team for Intermet Corporation and also spent time at Deloitte Consulting.
James is the Chief Data Officer at Persefoni. Before coming to Persefoni, James spent six years at a Fortune 500 company leading Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Engineering teams. He has deep expertise in data engineering and architecture and is a formally trained accounting professional with significant experience in Corporate Finance
Peter joined Persefoni as General Counsel. Peter has extensive corporate and securities law experience and has held senior leadership positions at public companies, including First Solar, Inc., where he was Chief Corporate Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He joined Persefoni from the Fortune 200 multinational infrastructure consulting firm AECOM, where he served as VP, Assistant General Counsel. Peter was previously a corporate attorney in New York City for twelve years, at Dechert LLP and White & Case LLP. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a BA from Princeton.
Kristina is Deputy General Counsel & SVP of Global Regulatory Climate Disclosure. She joins Persefoni from the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, where she served as Senior Counsel for Climate & ESG to the Div. of Corp. Finance, led the rulemaking team through drafting proposed climate disclosure regulations, and worked closely with the Office of International Affairs. Prior to the SEC, Kristina served as Senior Counsel and Dir. of Sustainability at Latham & Watkins. She has an MBA, Sustainability from Yale, her JD from Colorado, and BA from Duke. Grant Berry is Chief Customer Officer at Persefoni. He leads the Product, Customer Success, and Climate Solution teams that are enabling our customers to get the most value out of Persefoni’s Platform. Prior to joining Persefoni, Grant led sales, solutions consulting, and product management at Fortune 500 organizations leveraging digital solutions to achieve business outcomes.
Keith is the EVP of Global Markets at Persefoni. Keith joined Persefoni with more than 25 years of experience in governance, compliance, software and technology consulting. His expansive career has included starting and building operations in global markets around the world.
Terryn is the Managing Director, Global Bain & Co. Partnership at Persefoni. She brings almost 20 years of sales, partnership development, and business operations experience to the role. She has extensive experience building and scaling early-stage tech startups, including one of her own, and has worked with many Fortune 500 companies. In her current role, she is focused on expanding Persefoni's partnership with Bain & Company.
Ryan leads Persefoni's Private Capital Markets team. Prior to Persefoni, he spent seven years at Malk Partners, a boutique management consultancy that works exclusively with alternative investment firms and their portfolio companies to create and protect value through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Impact management, where he finished as a Partner.
Russell is Executive Vice President at Persefoni. He brings to the role more than two decades of SaaS and entrepreneurial experience in various strategy and sales capacities. With deep expertise in the enterprise software and cybersecurity sectors, he co-founded Marker Advisors in 2007, and is an advisor to various private equity and venture capital firms.
Kento is Country Manager, Persefoni Japan. Prior to Persefoni, Kento held multiple roles in his 12 year career at Apple, finishing as Country Director, Apple Pay, Wallet, and Payments. Before Apple, Kento held positions as Director of North Asia Sales Operations & Strategic Planning Manager at Dell, Sales & Management roles at Microsoft, and began his career at NTT. He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BE, Naval & Ocean Engineering from the University of Tokyo.
As the Chief Content Officer at Persefoni, Ryan oversees the Arts and Edits Studio of Persefoni (AESOP). Ryan brings to Persefoni more than 20 years of experience leading teams in commercial advertising, narrative film production, and branded content for network television. He uses his technical expertise, positive energy, and creativity to foster collaborative relationships and drive results for the Persefoni brand.
Emily is Associate General Counsel & VP of Global Regulatory Climate Disclosure. She joined Persefoni from the U.S. SEC, where she served as Assistant Director in the Office of International Affairs. In this capacity, she worked with regulators around the world and advised the Commission on a variety of cross-border regulatory policy issues, particularly on climate and sustainability disclosure. Prior to that, Pierce was in private practice at the law firm Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. She earned her J.D. from Yale Law School and received her undergraduate degree from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
Anne Reaney is Co-Founder of Persefoni UK and Global Head of Sales. In her previous role, Anne led Truvalue Labs European business and worked with some of the largest and leading financial institutions in Europe to help enhance ESG integration strategies. Prior to joining Truvalue Labs in 2018, Anne spent 12 years at hyper-growth financial services firm IHS Markit.
Jonathan Strand builds engaging, unique, and data-centric brands and experiences. With a background in environmental geosciences, Jonathan combines quantitative analysis with pixel-perfect design aesthetic to communicate complex ideas simply. Now the Chief Brand & Creative Officer at Persefoni, he oversees diverse teams to ensure the impact of Persefoni's message: shit's on fire, and we need to fix it.
Mike Wallace is the Chief Decarbonization Officer at Persefoni. He is an internationally recognized expert with nearly 30 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting/compliance, and managing social and human capital. Prior to joining Persefoni, Wallace was a partner at ERM and a director for the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
Chris has been a technologist since before the days of broad internet adoption. He began his career in the energy sector, building software solutions throughout Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream business units. Upon transitioning to Chesapeake Energy, he shifted his focus to large-scale systems, leading the Enterprise Architecture practice to deliver efficiencies through automation and analytics, and information flow across the organization.

Trey is the Director of Sales and Partnership in Japan. He has over a decade of experience in Sales, Partnerships and business development. These last five years he was based in Silicon Valley, leading the US startup’s partnership development with Japanese big enterprise companies.
Yoko is a Customer Success Manager on our Japan team. Prior to Persefoni, she was a Senior Success Manager at Spriklr, chiefly responsible for helping build their Japan Customer Success team starting in 2016. Before that, her experience was working in branding and media roles with L’Oreal and Dentsu, where she honed a true appreciation for and customer acquisition and support that frame the leading approach she takes in delighting customers.
In-house English/Japanese interpreter and translator, mainly between Japanese customers and the Persefoni team. In addition, Ryohei is also involved in localization projects such as website translation. He has over 10years of experience as a professional interpreter. Before joining Persefoni, he was a business interpreter for ES Global, who installed some venues for the Tokyo2020 Olympics. As a writer/journalist, he has published more than ten books in Japan nationwide.
Joined Persefoni in 2021. He is responsible for developing and executing strategies for the Japanese market. Previously, he won the Sales of the Year at the advertising division in Amazon, led E-commerce and marketing digital transformation project at Johnson & Johnson, and just before joining Persefoni, he strengthened the customer success department and experienced the IPO at Sprinklr.
Nobuyuki joined the team as the first Japanese employee in 2021. Previously, Nobuyuki worked at major technology companies such as Amazon and Google, where he played various roles including Product Manager, Business Development Manager, Marketing Manager, and more.

Kyle Derham is a Board Member at Persefoni. He is the President, CFO, and a Partner of Rice Investment Group. Kyle, as part of the Rice Team, led the proxy campaign in 2019 to successfully elect a majority slate of director candidates to the Board of EQT, the largest operator of natural gas production in the United States. Mr. Derham also has experience as a private equity investor, working as an associate at First Reserve and as an investment banker at Barclays Investment Bank.
Steve Ellis is a Board Member at Persefoni. He is also the Co-Managing Partner for The Rise Fund. Prior to joining TPG in 2015, Steve was the CEO of Asurion, the world's leading provider of technology protection services, and a Global Managing Partner for Bain & Company. Steve is a graduate of UC Berkeley and Stanford Business School, where he is a regular guest lecturer. Steve also serves on the boards of The Bridgespan Group, DreamBox Learning, Everfi, and Charles Schwab.
Victoria is a Board Member at Persefoni. She is also a Partner at Prelude Ventures, where her investments and experience span renewable energy, food & agriculture, sustainable apparel, and advanced computing. She also leads transportation efforts for the fund. She holds Board or hands-on Observer roles at Trove, OptimoRoute, Scoop, ClearMetal, Ripple Foods, Sense Photonics, and Thrilling.
Mr. Lyons is a Board Member at Persefoni. He joined NGP as Principal in 2014. Mr. Lyons concentrates on NGP ETP’s efforts in sourcing investments, transaction analysis, and execution, and the monitoring of active portfolios. Mr. Lyons serves as a Board Member or Board Observer for a number of NGP ETP portfolio companies, including Voltus, Inc., LevelTen Energy, Inc., and Orka Finance Inc. Prior to joining NGP, Mr. Lyons was an investment banking Analyst with Citi.
Dan is the co-founder and managing partner of Clearvision Ventures, a leading, evergreen venture capital fund. While at Clearvision, he has led the firm’s investments in Autogrid, ChargePoint, Claroty, FiscalNote, Persefoni, Tomorrow.io, Zingbox, Zum, and others. During his over 20-year venture capital career, he’s had the privilege of working with many successful entrepreneurs, sometimes as the founding VC. Prior to Clearvision, he was a Managing Director at Voyager Capital and Woodside Fund, where invested in or was the founding VC in numerous successful companies throughout the software and IT space. Dan has an AB from Harvard College and MBA from Harvard Business School.
Danny is a Board Member at Persefoni. He is a Partner of Rice Investment Group. He previously served as CEO of Rice Energy from October 2013 through the completion of its acquisition by EQT in November 2017. Prior to his role as CEO, Danny served as COO of Rice Energy from October 2012 through September 2013 and as CFO of Rice Energy from October 2008 through September 2012. He currently serves on the Board of directors of EQT, and he recently joined the Board of Whiting Petroleum in August 2020.
Bob is a leading authority on corporate purpose and the integration of ESG factors in resource allocation decisions by companies and investors. Founding Chairman of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and a Visiting Professor of Management Practice at the Said Business School, University of Oxford, Bob is also Chair of KKR's Sustainability Expert Advisory Council and a Senior Advisor to the Boston Consulting Group and the non-profit Impact Management Project.
Allison is the Managing Director for ESG & Sustainable Investing Strategy at Angelo Gordon, based out of NY. She began her current role after her position as the Executive Director for Global Sustainability Research at Morgan Stanley. From 2011-2018, Allison worked for Chevron in a number of senior corporate advisory roles that focused on environmental, social, governance (ESG), and geopolitical issues.
Olivia Albrecht is the Chief Executive Officer at Aspiration. She joined Aspiration as its Chief Sustainability Officer, leading its carbon markets business with responsibility for the firm’s ESG investing efforts, including ESG integration across their investment platform and business strategy. Prior to joining TCW in 2021, Olivia spent ten years at PIMCO and has also worked in private equity at Cerberus Capital Management, and held positions at Lockheed Martin, Mubadala Development Corporation, and within the U.S. Department of Defense.
Paul Dickinson is the Founder Chair of CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project). He has served as a member of the Environmental Research Group of the UK Faculty and Institute of Actuaries. In addition, Paul is also the Chair of the Trustees of the NGO ShareAction, Trustee of the Findhorn Foundation, advisor to the NGO Influence Map, trustee of the grant making Friends Provident Foundation, and author of Beautiful Corporations.
Jane Diplock is an experienced company director and an expert thought leader on governance, strategy, sustainability reporting, standard-setting, and regulation. She is a Chair and Member of multiple Boards in Singapore, Australia, and Abu Dhabi. Previously, Jane was Chair of the Executive Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and the Chairman of the New Zealand Securities Commission.
Rakhi Kumar is a Senior Vice President at Liberty Mutual, where she leads efforts to integrate sustainability across the global enterprise. She chairs Liberty’s Climate Council, a working group that oversees and coordinates efforts to transition the business to a low carbon economy. Rakhi is guiding the implementation of the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Disclosures (TCFD) at Liberty.
Curtis Ravenel is a founding member of the Secretariat for the Financial Stability Board’s Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), on the Steering Committee of the Net Zero Banking Alliance, is Senior Advisor to the Co-Chair & Vice Chair of GFANZ, and is a Senior Advisor to former Bank of England Governor Mark Carney, COP26 Finance Advisor and UN Special Envoy for Climate Finance. Curtis is also a Distinguished Fellow in Sustainable Finance at ClimateWorks Foundation and was Founder & Global Head, Sustainable Business & Finance Group at Bloomberg LP.
