Getting to know Persefoni: Meet Jack Fitzpatrick

1. And you may ask yourself, "Well... how did I get here?" (Tell us your journey?)

After I graduated from college, I was craving something different from the way of life on the east coast. I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where I was blown away by the balance of nature and city-life. This became an origin point of sorts for me… where I began my career, discovered my inner foodie, built a community, and fell in love. My work-life involved collaborating with the cereal team at General Mills, writing for a B2B influencer marketing agency, and building out my business. Within the last year, I had just moved to New York City when a recruiter reached out to me regarding a role at a company that was posed to transform the world. The job description spoke to me. Two weeks later, I came aboard at Persefoni. 

2. And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile. (What do you do at Persefoni?)

I am the Social Media Marketing Manager at Persefoni… kind of like a steward of our digital community. I spend my days building strategy, writing social posts, collaborating over media creation, amplifying the voices of our leadership, and spreading the word about our company. 

3. And you may ask yourself, "Where does that highway go to?" (What are your hopes for your time at Persefoni?)

That we can make a difference in the fight against climate. Though I haven’t worked in the ClimateTech or sustainability space in the past, that bias for action is what first drew me to Persefoni. That’s what I am aiming towards.

4. And you may say to yourself, "My God! What have I done?" (Why is Persefoni a great home for you?)

The marketing team here is truly fantastic. I get to work with talented people from wide-ranging backgrounds who are consistently inspiring me to get better. What more could I ask for?

5. And you may find yourself in another part of the world... (Tell us about your life/hobbies away from work?)

Food is a big part of my life, cooking creatively in my little city kitchen, strolling through farmers markets, and trying out all sorts of restaurants in the Big Apple. Other than that, you can find me riding my bike along the Hudson river, searching for birds, and eating popcorn at the movies.
